Dame Dr. Prof. MEHER MASTER – MOOS has a number of firsts to her credit; being the first Parsi Zoroastrian Lady to Graduate in Law from Oxford University in 1964. She was the first oriental woman to win the Barbour Fellowship in Law at Michigan University, U.S.A. in 1968; and the first non-European woman to be appointed a Law Professor in Canada in 1969 at the University of Manitoba.

She was the first person in India to be awarded the prestigious UNO Secretary General Dag Hammarskjoeld Award in 1968 – the only other lady so honoured was Late Mother Teresa, also in 1968. She is the first and only person in India to be awarded the prestigious Albert Schweitzer Medal for Humanitarian work internationally by the illustrious Polish Academy of Medicine in 1998; and by the Austrian Albert Schweitzer Society in 2000.

She was conferred the medal for Inter Faith Peace by His Holiness Pope John Paul II in 1986 and the medal of Chokhan Valikanov by the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences in 1992. She is the Representative at the United Nations Economic and Social Council of the SBBS/Zoroastrian College, an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the UNITED NATIONS ECOSOC since 2004.
She is the first and only lady in India to be Knighted and conferred the title of ‘DAME’ in five countries the last being in England, in 1998 and earlier in Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, and Russia. She has been conferred Honorary Doctorate Degrees by Seven Universities abroad in various countries. She is a popular speaker at many International Conferences to which she is invited in all five Continents.
She is a Barrister at Law from Lincoln’s Inn, London; Advocate of Bombay High Court; and was teaching as a Law Professor in Canada, Australia and since 1972 attached to Bombay University Post Graduate Law Department where she was on the Board of Examiners for International Law. She was appointed a Special Executive Magistrate in Maharashtra, India in 1993.

She is a prolific writer, authoress of 23 books on International Law, Alternative Medicine, and ancient occult wisdom of the Mazdayasnie Zarathushtrian Daena. Her first book on “Dual Nationality & The Constitution of India” was released by President of India Shri V.V. Giri in 1970 at Rashtrapati Bhavan and published by Dr. L.M. Singhvi of the Constitutional and Parliamentary Affairs Institute Delhi. Her book on THE RAINBOW COLOURS OF LIGHT & MEDICINA ALTERNATIVA, was released in 1985 in Copenhagen, Denmark and is translated into German and Russian and used as a textbook in several countries. Her book – LIFE OF USTAD SAHEB BEHRAMSHAH N. SHROFF and ADVENT OF SHAH BEHRAM VARZAVAND SAHEB, has gone around the World.
Her major TRILOGY of 3 editions of the sacred book the ILLUSTRATED KHORDEH AVESTA, in English, Tajik and Russian languages was released in Mumbai at Cultural Centre of Russia by the Consul General of Russia, Mr Alexandr Mantytsky and Director, Vice Consul Andrei Nazarkin and by Mr A Rakhmonov, Education Minister, the brother of the President of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, between 2002 and 2007.

She is a pioneer of Kirlian Aura Photography for Medical Diagnosis. Also for Water Purification Technology, with ANTI NUCLEAR DEVICE IN A VILLAGE WELL for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological pollutants. This Kazakhstan Technology was brought to India through the distinguished Kazak scientist Prof. Dr. Victor Inyushin Her work is recognized internationally by the Scientists of Kazakstan Academy of Sciences.
In Tajikistan, her work for Avesta and Zoroastrian revival is appreciated by the Tajikistan Academy of Sciences / and Tajikistan Govt Society for International Friendship -Anjuman –e-Dosti. She was invited six times during the past 15 years as Guest of the Tajik Government for Avesta World Conferences held in Dushanbe, in 1991, 1992, 1996, 2001, 2003 and 2006 and last invited in 2012.
For International Interfaith Peace work she was the only Zoroastrian speaker invited in the official delegation from India to the UNITED NATIONS HEADS OF RELIGIONS SUMMIT in 2000. She is the Zoroastrian representative on the India Advisory Board established after the Summit, of Indian Council of Religious Leaders in Delhi. She was also the only Zoroastrian representative invited as a speaker for the Women Religious and Spiritual Leaders Summit Conference for Peace in Geneva at the U.N. in October 2002; and by the United Religions Initiative for the Global Assembly Peace Conference in Brazil in August 2002.
