A BRIEF HISTORY

MAZDAYASNIE MONASTERIE

Mazdayasnie Monasterie was founded in 1977. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 as a cosmopolitan Society/Trust having varied objectives for the promotion of scientific, educational, religious and charitable work and research. The objectives include inter alia spreading the light of the knowledge, understanding and practice of the scientific and spiritual Divine Universal Natural Laws enunciated in the Mazdayasnie Zarathushtrian Daena revealed through Asho Spitama Zarathushtra in the scientific light of Ilm e Khshnoom for the universal benefit of humanity. The Society/Trust also holds a tax exemption certificate under Section 80-G of the Income Tax 1961, which benefits persons who give donations for the work of the foundation. Its founders were Dr. Meher Master-Moos and her parents (late) Kaikhushroo Ardeshir Master & Mrs. Amy Kaikhushroo Master; (late) Dr. Dara Hakim; (late) Mrs. Aloo Pesi Driver; (late) Mr. Hormusji B. Vania; (late) Mr. P Nanavatty,(late Mr Noshir Press, amongst others. The present Trustees include the Founder President, Dr. Dara Rupa and Captain Farokh Bhanja. This foundation was created with the Blessings of late Ustad Saheb Behramshah Nowroji Shroff who brought Ilm e Khshnoom knowledge to India and late Col. Dr. Dinshah Ghadiali founder of Spectro chrome metry science.

REPORT OF ACTIVITIES

During the past 40 years the Foundation developed a worldwide spread of activities. It had authorized representatives in the U.K., Canada, U.S.A., Africa, Australia, Karachi Pakistan, Tajikistan and various places within India and elsewhere for carrying on the work of the Foundation. The scope of activities include the following:


BOOKS

23 books have been written by Dr. Meher Master-Moos, some of them as General Editor, and most of these were released during the past 40 years. The foundation has been mainly concerned with bringing out a series of RARE BOOKS on the Mazdayasnie Zarathushtrian daena. The purpose of the heavy research work, which is involved with the bringing out of each book, is to go to the original ancient sources of scientific universal natural laws governing all souls in creation, and compare this with the latest modern scientific researches, so that humanity may be benefited by the ancient wisdom in the present times. The Advanced Series is in English and Gujarati. The Gujarati portion of each book consists of the original lecture notes of the late Ustad Saheb Behramshah Nowroji Shroff, giving the scientific knowledge of Ilm e Khshnoom derived from the abed sahebs of Demavand Kuh, of the inner meanings and esoteric wisdom contained in the Avesta texts and the Zarathushtrian daena. The English portion consists of an English language synopsis of the Gujarati portion; and an Introduction giving some information of the latest scientific research experiments carried on at Universities and Laboratories in the U.K., USA, USSR, Germany, Japan and elsewhere, which corroborate the ancient wisdom.

2. ELEMENTARY SERIES VOL.-1, BIRD’S EYE VIEW OF ILM-E-KHSHNOOM; ELEMENTARY SERIES VOL. 2; SAROSH NI KHSHNOOMAN NI KUSTI PRAYERS. A set of two books. The first is the English translation of Ustad Saheb’s original Gujarati book published by Ilm-e-Khshnoom Institute, which gives basic knowledge about Zarathushtrian religion. A very useful book for parents of Navjote aged children to answer the children’s questions. The second book is based on Bai Banoobai Mody’s Gujarati book on the correct method of reciting Kusti prayers with meanings and thoughts - Manthra and Mithra.

4. SUDREH – LIGHT & SOUND This very useful book about the Sudreh garment, how it protects the wearer, for the aura and Chakhras with pictures and a scientific introduction helps parents to encourage their children to wear the Sudreh and Kusti and head covering. Kirlian photographs taken in 1978 of ladies in their monthly period, its effect on the aura, on health, and of Mobeds reciting Avesta Manthras provide the scientific explanation and understanding about the Zoroastrian way of life. KHVARANGH-KHOREH-AURA This unique book of Ustad Saheb’s esoteric wisdom lectures about the 16 Chakhras, the aura, colours, soul Asphendi speed and spiritual evolution in Gujarati and English also has the mystic wisdom of the Khordad Yasht. 11. THE MAGHAVANS (TRANSLATED FROM RUSSIAN BY MRS. VERA DEHADRAI) This fascinating report of the archeological excavations of the Kazakhstan archeologists of the ancient Peshdadian dynasty town of “ARKAIM” believed to be one of the 18 “Vaars” constructed by Jamshed Padshah. By Madame Tamara Globa, also gives much information about the work of the Maghavs. This Russian report corroborates much of what Ustad Saheb had seen during his visit to Demavand Kuh, a century earlier.

19TH June 1999 was the 72nd Baj anniversary of Ustad Saheb. This book with beautiful colour illustrations is a Collection of Conference Papers of the Avesta World Conferences held in Tajikistan in 1992 and 1996. Also several articles about excavations of fire temples and other interesting information about the Zoroastrian peoples in Olde Iran – modern USSR including the “Golden Man” whom the Kazakh archeologists believe is the original Jamshed Padshah; also the Delegation visits, between 1992 and 1999 of the people of old Zoroastrian stock. It is believed there are over 2-3 million such people in the Central Asiatic mountain regions of Tajikistan.

WHOLE DAY SEMINARS Organised By Mazdayasnie Monasterie
In October, December 1981 & January 1982 whole day seminars were held for intensive discussion on a variety of subjects including Aura, 21 Nasks, Vendidad etc. Lunch was served to participants.
MONTHLY WEEKEND COACH TRIPS TO UDVADA:
As part of the save Udvada program, six trips were organised between October 1981 and April 1982, to visit Iran shah Udvada. As part of the educational program, a lecture was given on Saturday evening to the tour members, on various subjects.
LECTURE TOUR PROGRAMS:
At the invitation of Parsi and other Associations outside Bombay and India, lecture tours have been undertaken in India to Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Kanpur, and abroad Karachi (Pakistan), London (England), USA, Canada and other places. These consist of public lectures illustrated with slide shows and question and answer discussions. These are in English and/ or Gujrati.
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PROJECT:
In collaboration with the Indian Medical Acupuncture Association, a scientific research project was undertaken at the Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital Bombay of Kirlian Photographs of the aura of patients receiving acupuncture treatment at the Out Patients Clinic during February 1981. Kirlian photographs were presented at the First National Conference of the I.M.A.A. held in Bombay in March 1981.
SCIENTIFIIC RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS:
Mazdayasnie Monasterie maintains worldwide links with members of the International Kirlian Research Association of New York, for exchange of news, data, and scientific information concerning research experiments carried on at Universities in USSR at Alma Ata & elsewhere.
NEWS LETTERS:
From June 1981 to 1986, the educational activity of the Society has been carried out through quarterly News Letters. After 1986, with the formation of the Zoroastrian College, the News Letters activities ceased.


ZOROASTRIAN COLLEGE LECTURES
The first lectures Course was held in December 1986 at the training centre at Nariman Point, Bombay, in the offices of Sound Travel Corporation, thanks to the kind courtesy and help of (late) DR. RTN. KHUBO GURSAHANI. The college is eternally indebted to him for all his good support and kind help with the educational activities.
The first lecture was delivered by ERVAD GODREJ SIDHWA OF KARACHI, who specially flew to Bombay for flagging off the Zoroastrian College to a flying start. Since then, 6 lectures have been regularly delivered every month for 10 months of the year, under the auspices of the College through the various departments.
The complete list of all lectures delivered through Zoroastrian College is available at the college office. All the lectures are tape recorded. Any one wanting a copy of any particular lecture tape cassete can obtain the list and order the lecture cassete copy. Thanks to Mr. Navruz Desai most of the tape recording have been converted to printed pages to facilitate reading the lectures. Through this educational facility the knowledge giving by the speakers has been sent through lecture audio cassettes to all five continents.
THE COMPLETE LIST OF ALL THE RESEARCH THESIS OF ZOROASTRIAN COLLEGE DOCTORATE AND OTHER DEGREES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FROM THE OFFICE. The knowledge contained in each research thesis is unique and for the Universal benefit of Humanity. Any person requiring to read any particular thesis for reference work can obtain the list and order a Xerox copy of the research thesis. This unique educational service has made the research work submitted through Zoroastrian College available worldwide.
